It will almost definately be more expensive in the long run to convert it to nitro.

I would suggest, and this goes for the 1/5th car too, come along to race day and see if one of the 'popular' classes tickles your fancy - i.e. 1/8th nitro buggy or truggy. There are plenty of drivers in each of those classes with a range of skill levels to race against and learn from. If racing is your thing, you really needs to consider one of those classes. Offroad does race an electric shortcourse/buggy/whatever you got class if there are numbers and there is time but no guarantees. Until the 1/10th offroad track is ready....

I race mainly 1/8th truggy, and sometimes buggy (harder to drive well).

Pete.

I agree with Pete, best to come along and see what others are racing. No good buying a car and then find out that you are the only one that has one.

Coming along on Sunday and get a feel for it.

Cheers
