Anyone here got a Sirio .21 S motor? Got one of these in XR-CR I picked up and man it is a bit of a beast to tune. (The ninja is a breeze compared to this)

Anyone know what the default needle settings are?

When I fire it up as soon as I give it any power is bogs down and stops. If I lean it out anymore it won't fire.

Any assistance appreciated.

Francois!

Glow plug lights up really well.....replaced the fuel line removed filters etc. Even got a new clutch on there.

Ed: How many turns are each of your needles out?

Yeh i had one of those. 36 litres !! Tusty wee thing.

Start with the needles flush, i did find that the carb started to stick after a while tho, bit of super fine paper on the carb slide fixed the problem.

So you have gone buggy eh... nice

Got me a cheap X1-CT PRO with Sirio .21 engine a while back and only just got around to looking at it this weekend.

Raced today at the Brisbane track and what a experience. Enough cars for full A-Main Buggy, B-Main Buggy, Truggy and Electric. 11 Entrants in the Truggy class alone.

Managed to prove once again I can't tune an engine and had to pull out of the final as I was either running two lean or the clutch overheated and the engine was paying the price so Marshalls called it in, just as well as I couldn't hear a thing with 10 Truggys screaming by :)
